Fundraising

We are a non – profit organisation that has to continually raise funds  in order to provide and manage regular, weekly lip reading sessions and services to adults with hearing disabilities.

Our volunteers and supporters help us to do this. Without them we would not exist.

Below are some of the fun ways people have got involved and helped us.

Thank you to each and every one of you!

Tesco Collection

Thank you Tesco and especially Sonia Richardson for allowing us to fundraise at the Tesco Extra, Wigan on 16th June 2018. Yet again we were astounded at the generosity given by the Wigan public….. if you were one of these we are extremely grateful. Your kindness will help those with a hearing loss, to become much more confident and at ease when communicating with others.

Sponsored Walk

Thank you those who turned up today to participate in the sponsored walk organised by our very own Sandra to raise much needed funds for our Society. It began from Orrell Water Park. After a heavy rain shower at the beginning, bright sunny weather prevailed for the remainder of our lovely walk. A celebratory coffee, cake and ice cream was had by some at the end at Madisons Ice Cream & Coffee Parlour

ASDA Collection

Blessed to be amongst such kind people in Wigan! Yes, thank you all of you kind shoppers at ASDA (Robin Park, Superstore) who kindly donated yesterday to our Society. All proceeds will go to the continued running of our operation, which is aimed to benefit those who suffer from a hearing loss. Special thanks must also be conveyed to Katie Martin (the Asda Community Champion) and the other kind staff without whom the event would not have been possible. Below are some of our volunteers on the day.
